A native of College Point, N.Y., 16-year-old David Gallagher is in his fifth season on 7th Heaven and has already worked with some of Hollywood's biggest stars.
Gallagher appeared in three hit feature films, playing the title role in the direct-to-video sequel to the popular film Richie Rich, entitled Richie Riches: A Christmas Wish, starred with John Travolta, Kyra Segwick, Forest Whitaker and Robert Duvall in Phenomenon, and played the son of Travolta and Kirstie Alley in the successful comedy sequel, Look Who's Talking Now!
Gallagher has also appeared in numerous television movies, including The New Adventures of Spin and Marty co-starring Judd Nelson, Summer of Fear, It Was Him Or Us, Bermuda Triangle, A Dad's Life and Angels In the Endzone, with Christopher Lloyd. He also had a recurring role on the daytime drama Loving, and guest-starred on the series Walker, Texas Ranger. No stranger to the theatre, Gallagher originated the role of young Scrooge in the Broadway seasonal play A Christmas Carol.
David was recently nominated for the Hollywood Reporter's Young Star Award in the category of Best Performance by a Young Actor in a Drama Television Series making this his third nomination. He was honored with the award in 1998 in this category for his role on 7th Heaven.
